Movie introduced: (5:30-6:00) The story of John Newton & William Wilberforce, as portrayed in the movie “Amazing Grace”: Randy Testa (Vice President of Education and Professional Development at Walden Media).

 

Light dinner buffet at theatre (6:00-6:45):  for those wanting further interaction on questions of ideals and faith (before the movie).

 

The movie “Amazing Grace” will be shown (free) in the Carlisle Theatre (44 West High Street) at 7:00pm (PG, Walden Media). There will be a free-will donation to defray costs. This superb movie tells the story of William Wilberforce’s fight to abolish the Atlantic slave trade.
